USS Nevada

While searching for magnificent American nature, I came across this power shot. A perpetuated moment of USS Nevada. To me it`s strange to name a ship after a state with no shore, however it is pretty obvious that you don`t mess with this dude.

Stand-in Odyssey

Word on the street; the best cut in movie history is the transition from the world of apes to the world of space in 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick. I have not yet reached the cut, the reason is all the magnificent scenes of landscape. The movie is paused while I google nature. Don`t know where the movie is shot, but the desert in Arizona looks like a match. Arizona, here I come.

End Of Collage

"Days of our school/fresh architect life" - Chapter 1. Activity 25th of January: Clean desk, clean desktop, sort out paper, organise clips, pencils, men in 1:50/1:100, books, magazines and envelopes, sip some cava, write some mails, sip some more cava and google my new obsession: Collages. No sections, plans, isos, diagrams, presentations, models, lineweights or color schemes in sight. Relaxing times, Suntory times. The collage is made by Hockney, David Hockney.

Borderlines

I`m back in business, as a NAIve Architect. Not just studently naive, but the real shit. The picture is basically my borders of opportunities. Not the worst situation to find oneself, but kind of overwhelming. Bring it on, World of Architecture! (and every other world)

Tracks Of Oslo

Had a microscopic Christmas holiday in my home town Oslo! back in 2009. It was ice ice cold, but all that snow was just amazing. There`s nothing like: turning corners rally style on snow covered streets with a well insured car, a screaming friend in the passenger seat and Wham on the radio, falling over with face first on icy sidewalks, walking a dachs in deep snow or photograph tracks of different kind. Winter time.

In Paper We Trust

Paper rules, big time. True that. End of story. Haha, short link for you my friend. (OK. Need to get a life, soon). Soundtrack of today: "Cat People" - David Bowie. (Me and Ms. T is listening to "Inglourious Basterds" (the movie, not soundtrack) on loop through nighttime hours. We do prefer James Bond movies, but we don`t have any).
